This Arcadia Florida Campground is located on 70 lovely wooded acres directly on the Peace River offering a quiet country setting, yet just minutes to the fun and conveniences of Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. This South Florida Campground Resort is easily reached from I-75; just 5 minutes east of exit 170. In this country setting, campers often see ospreys and hawks, warblers and other song birds, bald eagles and herons are common. Other wildlife includes deer and an occasional otter, dolphin or manatee in the River. The park has lovely old live oaks, filled in the spring with Florida wild orchids.
This Resort offers two large swimming pools, a spa, shuffleboard court, horseshoes, a big fishing dock directly on the Peace River and a brand new boat ramp. The facilities include a large camp store with groceries, beer and wine, souvenirs, toys and games, RV and camping supplies. The main building also includes a huge activity center convenient to the big screened patio overlooking our sparkling pools and spa. Also, the main building has a large coin operated game room with pool table, air hockey, pin ball and other fun diversions. The resort is famous for fully tiled, sparkling baths and toilet facilities both in the main building and in the second comfort station. There are two large Laundromats featuring GE quality appliances. There is a very nice "dog walk" and several nice nature walks. The paved roads are perfect for bike riding, walking and jogging and the Resort is gated.

This is great place to stay: I am currently staying at Riverside, very nice place. A bit expensive but worth it. 2 nice pools and lots of actitives in the winter months. The staff is very nice.
The rate is based on a 3 month occupancy. This is one of the finest RV parks in SW Florida. The manager is outstanding and the staff are very helpful. I would highly recommend this park for your winter visit to Florida. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here for four nights after extending our stay for an additional night. This is a very nice and exceptionally clean campground. The staff keeps the restrooms sparkling and the grounds are well manicured. The campground is located on the Peace River and there are four docks from which to fish from or just look at the river.
Wonderful place to stay and meet wonderful people very clean and updated camp store. You can have campfires here. Laundry room, Wi-Fi and great friendships that will last a lifetime with the repeat season campers. Very nice and friendly staff right on the river and get to see a lot of wildlife including manatees. Great place would love to go back ! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
