The Daytona Beach area well known for beaches that are free and allowing cars on the beach in certain areas, also known for the Daytona 500 and other motorsports events is an area offering an abundance of camping and RV Park destinations. Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center are wonderful attractions in this area for the whole family to enjoy, both educational and exciting, visit the space center, the Air Force Space and Missile Museum, and the historic Cape Canaveral Lighthouse, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore while vacationing here.
 
Cocoa Beach Florida is the ideal beach town, only an hour’s drive from Orlando, is a perfect place to camp and enjoy an RV vacation, offering many ways to experience outdoor recreation, a great place for planning a day trip or two to the Orlando attractions. For those planning a family vacation near the beach or a long stay on Florida’s Atlantic Coast, the Cocoa Beach area is a camping destination you will enjoy and long remember.

Cocoa Beach is one of the more economical vacation spots in all of Florida, with plenty of values yet lots of interesting things to do and see. Some of the many attractions are the Kennedy Space Center (you might see a space shuttle liftoff!), or the Brevard Zoo, or enjoy some shopping in the areas boutique and gift stores.
