Camping at Disney World adds a special element to your vacation that most families will never get to experience.  The Fort Wilderness property has many fun activities for everyone to enjoy including: horse trails, boat rentals, tennis courts, playgrounds, bike rentals and swimming pools. Entertainment options include campfire sing-a-longs and entertainment dinner shows like the “Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue”.

The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offer classic outdoor diversions in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort. Situated on more than 700 acres of lush pine and cypress tree groves, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is a picturesque haven of natural beauty. Time slows to a pleasant crawl as Guests wander quiet trails and enjoy the rugged charm of log-façade buildings like the Meadow Trading Post and Pioneer Hall. Water canals snake through the cabins, campsites and common areas, adding to the sense of being far from the bustle of modern civilization—as do the roaming ducks, deer and rabbits.

Testimonials and reviews:
This is a really nice campground. We went in our travel trailer and there was always alot of activities going on. There is about as much to do at the campground as there is at the parks. You almost need about two weeks to be able to stay there. A week for the parks, and a week for the campground..

We stayed in a cabin for a week on vacation in disney. The pools were verry nice. the people were nice as they could be. This is one of the best resorts that I have ever been to I hope to come back again sometime when ever i am in disney again we will stay at the fort wilderness resort.

Our family decided for our fall vacation to Disney to skip the hotels and bring our campers for a change and I am so glad. Staying at a Disney resort is a must to start with, once we where there we never moved our vehicles...Great Transportation system. Well on to the campground, as you would expect from Disney everything was

Having grown up camping all over the U.S in R.V. s this was our first time camping with our young family and my first time at Fort Wilderness. And I have to say I was quite impressed with the facilities here. It was definitely one of, if not the nicest campgroud I've ever stayed at as far as layout and facilities.
