While Florida is commonly divided into 3 main camping regions; North, Central and South Florida, our directory has eight sections in these regions to help RV’ers and campers find the perfect place to stay and enjoy all that each area offers, every section has their own unique attractions and special activities.
North Florida Camping Region (has 2 sections: Northwest and Northeast):
The Northwest Florida camping section located on the Gulf Coast includes the Florida Panhandle region also called the Emerald Coast because of the emerald green water and white sandy beaches. The Northeast Florida section features St Augustine, Jacksonville and the Atlantic Coast beaches.
Central Florida Camping Region (has 3 sections: Midwest, Central and Mideast):
Central Florida is ideal to visit Orlando, Bok Tower Gardens and Winter Haven. The Midwest Forida camping destination is close to Tampa Bay, Bush Gardens and Clearwater Beach. The Mideast Florida section on the Atlantic Coast features Daytona, Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral.
South Florida Camping Region (has 3 sections: Southwest, Southeast & the Keys):
The Southwest Florida camping section encompasses Sanibel Island, Fort Myers, Marco Island and the Everglades National Park. The South East Florida section of course covers Fort Lauderdale, Miami and South Beach and we believe the Florida Keys deservers to it's own section.
